Luke 2: 8-14
8 In that same region there were shepherds who spent the night in the field, taking turns to take care of their flocks. 9 It happened that an angel of the Lord appeared to them. The glory of the Lord enveloped them in their light, and they were filled with fear. 10 But the angel said to them: «Do not be afraid. Look that I bring you good news that will be a source of much joy for all the people. 11 Today a Savior, who is Christ the Lord, was born in the City of David. 12 This will serve as a sign: They will find a child wrapped in diapers and lying in a manger.
13 Suddenly a multitude of angels from heaven appeared, praising God and saying:
14 «Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace to those who enjoy his good will. "[a]
New International Version (NIV).

Although the birth of Jesus cannot be determined exactly, however, the church chose the date of December 25 as an approximate where everyone celebrates this majestic event.

The shepherds received the best news of all time that day an angel appeared giving them the greatest news in the world that would fill them with joy because the savior of the world was born in Belen.

This event was celebrated by the angels and a multitude of the heavenly hosts who praised God and sang, Glory to God on high and on earth peace, goodwill for men!

Jesus came to save and received that day the honor of greatest praise in history from heaven because his birth would bring peace to men since it could not be granted by any mortal.

Give yourself that day so far Jesus has offered us as the savior of our soul and body spirit, because in Him we reach all fullness with the direction of the holy spirit.

Today and every day we celebrate the greatest day of humanity that has been born to us a savior!

God longs for us to give his heart to Him so that we may live a life full of love and gratitude in his presence.
