Reading to reflect 2 Timothy 2: 1-10
2 So you, my son, be strengthened by the grace we have in Christ Jesus. 2 What you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses, entrust it to trustworthy believers, who in turn are trained to teach others. 3 Share our sufferings, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No soldier who wants to please his superior gets involved in civil matters. 5 Likewise, the athlete does not receive the winner's crown if he does not compete according to the regulations. 6 The hard-working farmer is entitled to receive part of the harvest first. 7 Reflect on what I tell you, and the Lord will give you a greater understanding of all this.
8 Do not forget to remember Jesus Christ, a descendant of David, raised from the dead. This is my gospel, 9 for which I suffer to the point of carrying chains like a criminal. But the word of God is not chained. 10 So I endure everything for the sake of the elect, so that they too may attain the glorious and eternal (salvation we have in Christ Jesus.

The effort is the encouragement or strength that exists in a person to achieve something or to realize their dreams and many make continuous efforts to achieve their goals.
Striving is an important value in the lives of human beings because the effort is accompanied by perseverance and perseverance.
The problem that occurs in humanity is that these efforts are almost always made for their own benefit or for that of families, but we rarely see people make these kinds of efforts in their spiritual life, being this the most important while recognizing that our Personal lives are also important.
The Bible describes that God has given us his grace so that we can fight and overcome in daily trials or goals set
and that striving to reach biblical principles as main values in our lives is of the utmost importance.
The apostle Paul as a visionary man of the time and the next approaching advised his son Timothy in the faith to strive in the grace he had received from Christ trying to grow according to the biblical principles he had established according to the word.
Paul was ordering Timothy through these words to depend on the holy spirit because to grow spiritually was to learn to depend exclusively on the holy spirit and the gifts that Jesus Christ had granted him by his grace.
Hence the importance of us Christians striving to grow in the grace of God according to the gifts that He has established for us, because it is in his grace that we must strive because the other things God adds when we first seek his favor and grace
