Well I do actually believe you're a 'good actor' on Hive and yes you're right, I was overly judgmental on your post. Sorry for that.

The main point was that Hive walks on a knife edge in regards to who still believes in this thing. Who (that matters) that has hung around with optimism for actual growth and more importantly, who remains that can actually reimagine a feasible Hive future.

If blocktramp is the only hope then firstly.. fuck! and so then I wonder on which "weekly update" is he going to get around to impressing even the other few developers that still get wet for code updates. Because majority have long stopped paying attention to posts of "hey I found a typo... I plan to correct it by the end of the month."

But again, I judge.
But then... hey if there was ever a crown for king of extraction. "The second Dan" is clearly Napoleon. Self appointed emperor by the favorable position granted from the start.

The money extraction part is really the only thing many are committed to. Some even committed to stopping others from playing that game. In the name of "quality" of course. Whatever that is.

So that's the flaw.

That there's not much else that has changed since the inception of Steem. Both still grinding along, rewarding amateurish blogging. Shitposting for the exchange of a token that allegedly has value.

As you said the echo chambers is the other flaw. People kidding themselves in obscured tribes with other tokens that allegedly have value. The small communities singing kumbaya to each other and singing sweet lullabies to the one or two "whales" that might throw a vote their way.

But hey I must give credit though.. my frontend of choice PEAKd now has a search bar.. WOW! I almost feel I should create a Twitter account to share that with other peakd users that are on Twitter. Then come back to Hive and stare in awe at the Twitter screenshot shared here on Hive.

Incentives to store and then delete videos that get no views is the next big thing of social media maybe. Those tech Giants are going to froth once they see that rewards for video, where rewards for text failed, is the real power of these Blockchains.

But hey.. as 2Pac said "that's just the way it is.." Hive clowns masquerading as champions of the community will kid themselves and the folks hoping to win their attention regardless.

So then I do give you real credit. I do recall now some of your ideas and like a couple other respectable identities here, maybe your time is coming.

If this chain ever gets the right toolset and framework to really BUILD (spelled correctly) something truly worthwhile to a mass audience then the history of this thing at least proves that once in here, humans do stay committed and give their time.

So should this Hive truly evolve, then leaving would be a foolish thing. And marketing.. an unnecessary butterfly flapping helplessly upwind. Because really, that's what users provide without cost.. willfully. Once they find something that's truly amazing and revolutionary they share it with anyone that they have access to. It's how platforms can gain millions of users in days and keep that growth as viral stories.

That dream however is illusive.

Likely then why QUALITY CONTENT or just CONTENT in QUANTITY is also illusive. No one other than money chasers see an audience here or a place worthy of solid commitment.
