Yeah on Hive the difference is that the same 10 that eat much cake mask their feeding (not so well) by multiple fund proposals and witness nodes and then instant curation trail blind votes.

At least on Hive the Spanish community are finally recognized as the worker bees though. I'm happy to see that they too have recognition from blind curation trails.

The negative I see there though is that the content they produce, which is mainly day to day doings... doesn't really appeal to new users in order to make the platform draw attention from mainstream. Sure if make up takes a person's fancy or cake baking it might be good but I don't see any content here that's for intellectuals or individuals seeking to find a platform that is on the forefront of tech development or human achievements in this fast moving digital age.

Pockets of tiny communities looking to achieve momentary goals through simplified blogging isn't going to be a hit anyone soon.

Hive is literally just a quazi myspace with token rewards for bloggers and curation trail subscribers. That's not innovative at all.

Video rules as the content medium and 3Speak is years, if not decades away from providing a robust backend for Hive to step to the main platforms on that front.

For the feels Hive pushes on.
"yay we left steemit" is the vibe. As a contender to burst into people's devices and 'platform of choice to connect to loved ones and the world' though it's just missing way too much for that to become reality.. yet people like @taskmaster4450 keep claiming it's just around the corner. He must live in a maze because how many corners is there man!
