Havana is a photogenic city. There is no doubt about that. From their most beautiful and emblematic places to the oldest and most demolished, they are frequent protagonists of postcards and magazines, art exhibitions and publications on social networks. Here I bring you some photos of me to enter the #monomad challenge of this beautiful community.

Desde sus más hermosos y emblemáticos lugares hasta los más añejos y derruidos son protagonistas frecuentes de postales y revistas, de exposiciones artísticas y publicaciones en las redes sociales. The Cuban capital, without a doubt, is a unique sample of architectural styles and values. The history of the city, of the country, can be told, understood, from the buildings that compose it.
La capital cubana, indiscutiblemente, resulta un singular muestrario de estilos y valores arquitectónicos. La historia de la ciudad, del país, puede ser contada, comprendida, a partir de las edificaciones que la componen.

However, in spite of everything, they persevere. Uphans are shown to anyone who wants to discover them, portray them, love them. Maintained, many times, by those who inhabit them, or, in other cases, by state institutions, they remain upright against all odds, despite the laziness of some and the inclement passage of the years. And so they hope to continue.
Sin embargo, a pesar de todo, perseveran. Se muestran ufanas a quien quiera descubrirlas, retratarlas, quererlas. Mantenidas, muchas veces, por quienes las habitan, o, en otros casos, por instituciones estatales, se mantienen erguidas contra viento y marea, a pesar de la desidia de algunos y el paso inclemente de los años. Y así esperan seguir.
