So, ever since the dawn of this new bull market, I have noticed that every news source on the internet is spinning the story in favor of EOS over Ethereum.
Yesterday I started an account on EOS using scatter, which was very nice and easy. Also, I signed up for a murmur, which is giving away free EOS accounts for the first 10000 users who sign up. Also I was swindled by https://eos-account-creator.com. Until they email me back I will give this site a -50 stars. Dont use them, you will spend and EOS on nothing.
But overall it was easy to get an EOS account wallet set up.
A few things I notice are that the EOS dapps are not especially faster or fuller featured than dapps developed on this blockchain. Half the links are broken on the front page of murmurdapp.com.
People seem to think that blockchains are going to jet li each other till there is one victor. At least, that is how I think of it sometimes. But that is ignorant thinking. There are to this day people who willingly use java or c, or c++, there are people who develop in this framework and that framework.
Why do people call EOS the Ethereum killer? That is like calling chocolate ice cream the ice cream killer. When chocolate ice cream really picks up steam, no one else is going to want to eat strawberry ice cream ever again.
To the contrary, alot of Dapps on both blockchains are able to communicate cross platform with each other.
I think the main edge EOS has is that it appears to be more mobile friendly Most the EOS dapps work 50+% on my phone how they are intended to work.
