Capitalism is a form of feudalism.
The capitalist is the feudal lord.
The workers are little more than any other piece of machinery.
You pay them because slavery is not as efficient.
You give them better working conditions for the same reason you grease the machinery.
But you don't treat them like partners. Because in capitalism, they're below you, the capitalist.
