Some friends asked me if I could organize a small leather workshop for them — so we finally made it happen.
At the beginning we decided together that we would make keychains.
Everyone was free to create their own design — I was just there to guide them and give advice so the final result would match their vision.
It was really nice to lead them through the whole process.
We went step by step: • choosing the materials
• visualizing the final result
• gluing
• punching holes
• hand stitching
• stamping
• and setting rivets
For a first time working with leather, they did really well. I was honestly impressed.
PS. During the workshop, the One Ring in leather form was also created — hopefully it won’t be thrown into the lava
