I've been touring so many places, and I've never made a complete album for Etara. Somehow it was his time, although there is hardly a person who has not visited this ethnographic museum of ours.
I don't think I have anything more to describe, everything is visible, but if someone has questions about crafts, exhibits or some details to ask, I will answer if it is within my competence.

The complex is located near the town of Gabrovo and has gathered exhibitions of almost all crafts that have been practiced in these lands.

The floor is plastered with mud, and the hearth in the corner from Teteven to Strandzha is called "kashti". People from Gabrovo are said not to have whitewashed their rooms from the inside, which they narrowed down - it is true. In the mud with which the hearth is plastered, besides chaff and beef excrement, salt is added. When baked, it becomes concrete. The opening above the pot is called a "room hole", from there the masonry stove "jamal" is lit.

The "dolapkinya" mill, the water wheel, is on the side of the building and a wooden shaft, through an angular gear mechanism, rotates the upper stone directly. The flour is not sown, but it is terribly tasty. Now they call him wholehearted because nothing is separated from him. With the big lily - 30 oki. One eye 1.28 kg. the wheat is weighed. 10 lilies, or about 360 kg of wheat is enough for a person to survive until the next harvest, about one loaf of bread a day

One of the guides in the museum told a very interesting story. But it turned out that at the base of the vertical wooden beam there is a wooden wedge and the miller every two or three days, pounding it with a big wooden hammer, to pick up the gaps and vibrations. "
I don't know how much truth there is in this story, but at least it sounds interesting :)
