I guess it is because you share a link to your post as a Reddit's link post while others post your images as a Reddit's Images&Video post with the link in the body.

On desktop:

The difference is that people on photography subreddits don't like viewing content on external websites, so most users just ignore link posts. Images&Video posts get much more upvotes.
