You know better, you live in the US, not me, but, imo, a too strong word, probably.

This story ... A BLM-connected decline of legality and morals, as I believe, is a specifically American problem and I am not enough informed why it is happening. They tried to infest the UK with this agenda but, as I know, they couldn't go far in that.

I believe in the theory that the democrats needed more votes of the black people (from conservative Southern states) so they kindled BLM fire by their controlled media. Biden vs Trump was a harsh fight so they needed all available means.

Would be good some big black political leaders will recognize that whites are sometimes targets of racism too and regular emphasize that discrimination on the basis of skin color is unacceptable. Maybe, this is already happening, I don't know - I don't follow American news.... Just sharing my (perhaps superficial or false) ideas.
