Once, I spent a month in Yogyakarta and, that time, I discovered that this area is full of supernatural stories about all sorts of monsters, spirits, magic, etc. Then, I met some guys from Borneo during my trips in Thailand and Vietnam, the same thing. As I see Aceh is not different. So ... Indonesia is a sort of reserve of living myths (... or real supernatiral creatures?)
