Chaos of the Wolf. My Lucky Trades on the First Day of BW Release. HRD with Moonlighters
6 am Bangkok time, I woke up specially to buy packs of the new set, Band of the Wolf. I peed, quickly drank a glass of milk from the fridge and opened godsunchained.com where I discovered that the release delayed by an hour. I visited Youtube where I notice a preview of the fresh video of @copperpitch:
Madness!
This is how I found out that the GU team made a mistake:
So... Getting a shiny card from the forge or from a pack is the same event called "the mint". The GU program can't distinguish one from the another. This is why people who get eligible shiny cards from packs will have domain legendary cards, too, which wasn't initially supposed.
However, there is a contradiction in the message. They say "can potentially be minted" (means maybe) and, lower, they say "you will also receive" (means for sure)... 馃槨
Buying separate shiny cards at the secondary market, as people say, doesn't lead to getting domain leggies since this is about getting cards through the trade, not the mint.
It means that, (probably), there will be much more copies of domain leggies than had been planned and announced.
Perhaps, nobody knows how exactly all this will work... Meanwhile, I want to share my shopping adventures on the first day of Band of the Wolf's release.
Shopping
What I wanted was 2 Shrike Moonlighter (to have them asap in my Hidden Rush Deception deck) and 5 Spore-Light Lantern as cheap as possible to get Gama, Lord of Berries through crafting.
So, as a result (of calculations, doubts, excitement, etc.), I bought three booster packs and this was what they contained:
The second pack brought me gold Fae Thornblade, and this made my shopping day. 馃
Three epics in one pack, one of them was gold... So lucky!
Meteorite Fae Thornblade cost around 4$ at that moment... (this was the very first hour of the release, people were buying and selling, there was joy, disappointment, and ringing nerves in the air 馃榾) ...I decided to damp and try selling for 25$. I tried ETH, then cancelled the trade and started selling for GODS and, soon, switched back to ETH... 馃檪 In several minutes, my gold Fae Thornblade was sold for 0.11ETH 馃
I didn't try to get the best price because the general situation was uncertainty but the general rule says that the later, the cheaper. So I chose selling asap.
On Discord, some GU users believe everybody who had an eligible shiny epic from a pack, will have a domain leggy - no matter if you keep the card or sold it. Because of that saying:
If you purchase eligible card packs and get a shiny card required for the recipe, you will also receive one of the Domain Legendaries that was initially intended only to be available through crafting.
Hope it's correct and I'll get this for minting gold Fae Thornblade:

Gama, Lord of Berries
I sold every expensive card which I got from 3 Booster packs and, then, wanted to buy 4 Spore-Light Lantern (1 got from a pack) for crafting Gama.
It was just the very first day and each Spore-Light Lantern cost around 4$. But I decided not to delay the thing and bought them. I calculated my expenses for getting Gama would be less than 12$ taking into account the earnings from the sale of cards from the bought packs. 12 bucks is fine, I believe. If we also count crypto I'll potentially get for selling Divya (which I will hopefully receive), I've done good work today. 馃馃
BW Cards in My Inventory
My Band of the Wolf collection 馃檪:
I bought 2 Moonlighters and 2 Dark Deliverance, and didn't sell Ember Oni, Blighted Scion, and Perseverance.
Thinking of forging the lanterns but... I had a tense morning... All this chaos of thoughts and doubts due to the mentioned mistake... What other mistakes will follow?.. Need to have a good nap first... And then to do an additional research and read what people say.
Game Experience
Yeah, I have already played Shrike Moonlighters.
Shrike Moonlighter has a great bonus - it steals cards, not just copies, every time a Nether appears on your side of the board. Gama in the deck will make Moonlighters even better.
The stolen cards can be quite useless, tribe-specific, you often can't properly use in HRD deck. But stealing 2-3 cards, even useless, can ruin plans of the opponent...

I've climbed with this deck from Solar to Diamond this morning. Everybody played War today there...
I tried Spore-Light Lantern and Dark Deliverance in Solo mode. Interesting cards but I think they are perhaps better for Control Deception, not HRD.
Yes, this is a mix of Guild and new Nether archetype, and, it might be, that having, instead, a Lokian with health 4 and a Iron-Tooth Goblin is a better idea... Maybe using more new Nether cards will bring better results... Let's see how it will work.
