Hi guys,today am going to talk on Gasifiers as source of renewable energy.
What is a gasifier?
Renewable energy according to Pennstate, is energy that is generated from natural processes that are continuously replenished.
A gasifier is a biomass plant that converts waste to synthetic gas or syngas to useful gases.
It can convert wsaste like manucipal solid waste,
Agricultural waste,
Sea waste etc.
The synthetic gas consist of gases such as Carbron monoxide, Hydrogen and Corbon iv Oxide
This gases combined together after cleaning to produce useable house hold gases
and industrail gases for Electrical power generation, for heating up industaril boilers.
The advent of renewable energy can not be over emphasized because current
level of ozone layer depletion is high considering the fact that fussy fuels are coursing such issues.
The world is evolving to renewable energy and in no time it will be the order of the day.
Renewable energy has many potential benefits, including a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, the diversification of energy supplies and a reduced dependency on fossil fuel markets.

According to Renewable energy statistics RER, the growth of renewable energy sources may also have the potential to stimulate employment in the EU, through the creation of jobs in new ‘green’ technologies.
There different type of waste gasifiers,
- Downdraft Gasifier
- Up drafter Gasifier
- Fluedized bed etc.
All have the ways they operate..
