It has been a very long time since I have provided a Blind Skeleton update. Blind Skeleton is currently my most active brand after Tidwick and Frogs of War Games, both of which have been sadly neglected of late.
What is Blind Skeleton, you may ask? Blind Skeleton is my "old time" art brand, focusing on old-time radio, photography, and art, all with a modern twist. It's a blending of the old and new, and new with the old.
So what has changed? A few things, mostly on the back end:
- A new host for Blind Skeleton Radio. This new host has about five times the storage as the previous, allowing me to upload my entire collection of Old Time Radio shows with plenty of room for growth.
- A new host for the Blind Skeleton web site! Yes, I've finally migrated it off my Raspberry Pi, which is a very bitter-sweet moment for me. I'm sad that it's no longer Raspberry Pi Powered, but happy that it's... well.. no longer Raspberry Pi Powered. The new host is also upgradeable when the need arises.
- Along with migrating sites, I've also moved support scripts to a more permanent, non-Raspberry-Pi location as well. I do love my Pi's, but hosting 24x7 internet sites with them is not what they were necessary intended for.
- More photo galleries on the web page. Because eye-candy!
What do these changes mean? It means room for growth. It means more stability. And it means a better way for me to expand the brand. What will you see?
First, the DiscoBot Discord Bot will be more stable. Listening in from The Terminal will now be easier. Secondly there will now be a greater variety of shows.

Weekday mornings at 7:00am now has an exercise show! Health Exercises for Victor now play 7:00am EDT every weekday morning at https://blindskeleton.one/radio. Health Exercises for Victor was a recorded set of exercise records, originally recorded in the early 1920's. Yes, before the advent of television and recorded video workouts, there was an exercise program by Victor Talking Records. Come check it out! Stay for a spell, listen, and help yourself get healthy.
