What an incredible piece. I've done some dabbling in pyrography as well - I still have a pen with a variety of tips - but I have nothing this beautiful in my repertoire.

It's a great story to go with it, too. I agree that handmade gifts are so much more personal and meaningful than bought gifts, and it's a really nice way you have to share with your good friend. Thank you for the positive, uplifting story!
