When I need to script something I will use python, definitely. That is always my goto language. For building "flows" of automations I will use either node-red or, in this case, my company's solution (https://pliant.io).

Right at the moment I'm not concerned about plagiarism since this is only a concept and I don't plan on actually doing this for Hive posts; rather, the intent is more to show what automation can do. Anything that I do share will always be properly sourced.
