A very nice painting, dear friend! I love the powerful colors.
To exorcise your particular dream, think of a boat as big hole in the water where you throw all your money in. That's what happens when little people like us own a boat. It is much smarter to rent a boat here or there.
I don't know if you own your home. If you don't and you're paying rent for an apartment, it might be an idea to give up the apartment and live on a boat fulltime. This way, you're not paying significantly more for the boat: save the rent, pay for the boat instead. An older boat can't be that expensive, and all the parts to fix it up can be had on Amazon etc. these days. AFAIK larger boats can be mortgaged similar to homes, spreading the payment over a longer period than consumer items.
Of course, it depends on a lot of factors, but you can do the math. Perhaps this will work for you. Nothing wrong with being a nomad of the sea ;-)

P.S.: On another note, I was supposed to be in Tuscany by now. Instead, my mom is in the hospital with a fractured hip that can't be operated on just now due to an infection that needs to clear up first. That's exactly what I explained to you the other day.
