Many people with disability are rising above the scorge of their bodily defect and it is inspiring to see them rose to the zenith of their career and living happily. Truth is that some persons without disabilities are far from achieving the feats of some of their counterparts with disabilities. The submission is however that success is beyond our bodily defect but an outcome of a healthy mind.

A healthy mind is that which sees vision and is able to step into the future ahead of others. Others are able to have a glimpse of the past to chart their paths into the future. Brian Tracy in his Dream Big: Live Your Life without Limits says that "Through positive thinking and positive knowing your life has no limits". He encourages people to dream big and accomplish their goals.

Dreaming is no doubt a function of sight, though not on the physical. But truth is that the imagery of dreams are dependent on what our eyes can see. This births the debate on whether blind people dream. Some people argue that blind people can and do dream, though their dreams can be somewhat different from those of sighted people.

Others have held the view that blind people do not dream visually. That means that they do not “see” in their dreams if they had lost their sight before a certain age. On the contrary, a recent research suggests that people who are blind, from birth or otherwise, can still experience visual images in their dreams.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you agree that blond people also dream? If yes, what do you think it looks like?
