CHAPTER TWO
THE STRONGHOLD
TITAN had heard it all before.
He Has Power. He Has Size. He Is An Unstoppable Force!
At 6'9" and 310 pounds, those were usually the first things anyone noticed. And usually, they were enough.
Across the ring stood Ryker Voigt. A powerful heavyweight in his own right. He is athletic, technical and, dangerous.
Two men entered the ring believing they understood exactly what stood across from them, but they were about to learn how wrong they were.
Ryker knew TITAN was strong. Anyone with eyes could see that. What he wasn't expecting was what happened when TITAN stopped relying on his size.
TITAN didn't charge forward. He didn't simply try to overpower him. He wrestled.
Position.
Leverage.
Control.
And then...
the Full Nelson.
Ryker had discovered something important. TITAN wasn't simply a powerhouse. There was technique behind all that strength, but TITAN was about to make a discovery of his own. Ryker wasn't just a technical wrestler. He was powerful.
TITAN planted his feet. He knew exactly what Ryker was attempting. He tried to stop it. It didn't matter.
Neither man looked at the other the same way after that. The assumptions were gone. TITAN now knew Ryker possessed enough raw strength to move even him.
Ryker now knew there was far more to TITAN than brute force. And suddenly, the match changed. It wasn't about proving that the other man didn't belong. It was about finding out which one of them was better.
They hit harder. They pushed further. Neither backed down. And somewhere outside the ring...
Paulie Savage had seen enough.
Paulie had other plans, and when he decided the match needed to end, Waylon Biggs and Seymour were sent to make sure it did.
The match was thrown out. But the fight wasn't over. At first, TITAN and Ryker simply defended themselves. Then instinct took over.
The same Full Nelson Ryker had been trapped inside earlier suddenly became an opening. The same German Suplex that had driven TITAN into the mat suddenly became a weapon against a common enemy.
Two wrestlers who had spent the night trying to defeat each other began fighting side by side. And for the first time...
everyone could see what these two might be capable of together. But the chaos came with a price. Seymour went over the edge of the ring and crashed to the floor. Waylon went immediately to his partner.
Paulie Savage had a very different reaction.
"Get him out of here. We'll find someone else."
That was all Paulie needed to say. Seymour was hurt. Waylon was worried about his partner. And to Paulie Savage? A wrestler who couldn't do his job was simply replaceable. That story isn't over.
But neither was the story between TITAN and Ryker. Their match never had a winner. They never got their finish.
Yet when the smoke cleared, both men had learned something far more important than who could score the three-count.
TITAN had found someone capable of matching his power. Ryker had found someone capable of matching his wrestling. And each possessed something the other had never expected.
THE STRONGHOLD HAS BEEN BUILT.
TITAN entered WOO as a singles powerhouse. Ryker Voigt arrived ready to prove exactly what he could do. Neither entered that ring looking for a partner. But respect has a strange way of changing things.
TITAN saw the power behind Ryker's technique. Ryker saw the technique behind TITAN's power. And once they were forced to stand on the same side...
