an entirely new group of wrestlers has been waiting for their opportunity to arrive.
As we move closer to the release of WOOBETA, we want to show you what happened in between.

Road to Beta is a new series of short, standalone graphic-novel stories chronicling the world of WOO as it moves from Alpha into Beta.
Some chapters will answer a simple question:
What happened to the wrestlers you already know?
Others will introduce wrestlers you've never seen before.
Every chapter will tell its own story.
And piece by piece, you'll begin to see the roster — and the world — of WOOBETA take shape.
There was only one person we could start with.
When Abby Rhoades entered WOO, she believed she knew exactly what she needed to do.
Work hard.
Stay positive.
Be patient.
Keep smiling.
And eventually...
someone would notice.
But professional wrestling doesn't always reward patience.
While Abby waited for her opportunity, she watched opportunity find everyone around her.
The wins.
The spotlight.
The recognition.
Again and again, she heard the same promise.
Quote Your time will come.
Eventually, those words stopped sounding encouraging.
They started sounding like an excuse.
Because Abby wasn't just losing matches.
She was beginning to lose faith in the person she had tried so hard to become.
There comes a point when waiting stops feeling like patience.
It starts feeling like surrender.
And Abby Rhoades was finished surrendering.
She had spent her entire career believing that if she stayed on the right road long enough, it would eventually take her where she wanted to go.
So she chose another road.
The smile disappeared.
The patience disappeared.
The need for anyone else's approval disappeared with it.
And in their place...
Abby Rhoades wanted to be noticed.
The wrestler you knew in WOOALPHA has changed.
When Dark Rhoades arrives in WOOBETA, she won't be the smiling young wrestler waiting patiently for somebody to finally give her an opportunity.
She's taking a different road now.
And this is only the first story.
Over the coming weeks, Road to Beta will continue with more standalone chapters revealing what has happened to familiar WOO wrestlers since Alpha while also introducing some of the brand-new competitors joining the roster for the first time.
Some stories will be transformations.
Some will be beginnings.
