Emergency Call to Action: Helping Perry Saturn Stay Warm

This morning, Perry Saturn called @bookerman with some unfortunate news—his furnace has stopped working, and it couldn’t have happened at a worse time. Perry lives in Albert Lea, MN, where the temperature is currently -6°F (-21°C). He is applying for emergency repair assistance, but it could take up to two days for help to arrive.

Our Community Has Answered the Call

We put out an emergency call to action to our incredible #Hive community, and so far, we have raised $654.33 to help keep Perry safe and warm! A special shoutout goes to @aggroed of @arcadecolony for an incredible donation of 500 Hive tokens. This generosity shows just how strong our community is when one of our own is in need.

How the Money Will Be Used

We are committed to full transparency in all transactions. Here’s how the donations will be used:

Immediate warmth – The first priority is to get Perry space heaters to heat rooms in his home.
Furnace repairs – Any additional costs for repairing the furnace will be covered.
Increased electricity costs – Running space heaters will increase his electricity bill, and funds will be used to cover the excess cost.
