I have been playing with the panorama feature on my Lumia 950 recently while in Hong Kong and had one of those what if moments...
What if I used the panorama but scanned overhead instead of sideways, that way you can capture the vertical nature of a location. It worked far better than I thought. Here are a couple of examples...

The woodland one blurred a little in the middle, I think due to the sun being overhead. I will play with this some more when opportunity presents itself :)
