Could not resist The Rolling Stones reference in the title.
I have been on steemit for a few days now but total forgot to about the introduction post, too caught up in the fun of creating content, no more delays. So...
My name is Warren, although online I normally use Woz which is due to arcade games back in the day only allowing 3 letters for you name on the high score table lol.
I am fast approaching the age milestone of 50 but to make up for that I live in a tiny township 50km inland from Christchurch New Zealand near the foothills of the Southern Alps. Almost directly under the stunning cloud formations the mountains cause, locally known as the Nor'west Arch due to the Nor'west winds that create it. The pictures above are from some of the "burning sky" sunsets we get at certain times of the year, the colours the sky goes through as different cloud layers light up can be stunning.
My core passion is writing code and learning new programming languages, I have been around computers since the early 80s and writing software since then so it was only natural that I would end up working in code for a living :) Given that I you can probably guess I am into many things tech from computers, gaming, cryptocurrency etc.
Originally I am from the UK but left my home shores for New Zealand about 14 years ago, something I have never looked back from since then. Even living through the big 7.2 Canterbury earthquake and the 10000+ aftershocks in the following years did not drive my away, so the place must have something about it because was only 10km from the epicenter of the first one?
While many of my posts will be tech and programming related I will go off on wild unrelated tangents from time to time so do not let that put you off following me, you never know what you will find :)
