Yamaha recently allowed Motorcyclist magazine to take a spin on the 3-wheeled MT-09, the reviewer states that this is not a bike for beginners, but rather a risky foray into the extreme technologies of modern motorcycling. Yamaha has compared this bike to skiers with it's advertising on multiple occasions, so clearly they drew some inspiration from them.
I enjoyed the Piaggio MP3 when I rode it and I quickly was dragging centerstand due to the added confidence the extra front wheel brings to the front end, I would be excited to do the same on a much larger machine. Plus it can wheelie, so how does one say no to that?
