5 years later, 1999, NIN again kicked off with his dual disc album "The Fragile" (one of my favorite albums from NIN). Album called by Spin magazine as "Album of the year" This resulted in single singles that used station American radio station as backsong. Single "The World That Went Away" (used as one of OST Terminator Salvation), then "Starfuckers.Inc" which reznor bring together Marilyn Manson (who is none other than a follower of NIN and Marilyn Manson album was produced and a huge success under intervention reznor hand). Even Rolling Stone magazine called the album "The Fragile" as "a brutal and delicate masterpiece".
Back with "With Teeth" in 2005, reznor made this album based on his struggle against alcoholism, without preamble "With Teeth" resulting in single singles that ran the billboard 200, moreover many thought that the single "The Hand That Feeds" was a single anti- george bush, which of course influenced American society at that time. Even until rejected stage action to bring the song on the MTV music award. "Everyday Is Exactly The Same" was used as one of the soundtrack of the movie "Wanted" angelina jolie lately.
