Zoos emerge as a gateway to that world—spaces that house and care for exotic animals to showcase them to the public. Today I want to share with you my visit to the zoo complex in Ciego de Ávila, Cuba. Do you remember the last time you visited a zoo? I invite you to explore it with me!
In my eagerness to explore and do so naturally, I don’t want to rely on a map. There are no dangers here, and I know that if I do get lost, I can rely on my visual memory to retrace my steps and find my way back. That’s why I love getting to know every nook and cranny of the most amazing spots in the city’s historic Botanical Garden.
For years, I have been hearing stories about a great national assembly that takes place on the second of August, on St. Ilija's Day, on the slopes of Mount Kosmaj, in the immediate vicinity of the Tresije Monastery.
