The palace is quite large, but not all rooms are open for touring. That is according to my feeling, roughly a third of it is open. There are several quite remarkable details. First of course, are the wonderful stucco decorations here. Baroque style, gilded stucco decorations. The paintings on the ceilings are wonderful, completely fascinating. This definitely adds a certain volume to the space. A tremendous number of crystal chandeliers caught my attention. Moreover these are very serious, almost monumental chandeliers.

Navigating through the sometimes fast-flowing stream, between large rocks, was the most exciting and demanding part of our journey. I should mention right away that on such a challenging trail, shoes with non-slip soles, ankle support, and lightweight grips that don't retain water are absolutely essential. Sometimes the rocks we stepped on were mossy and wet, putting us at risk of falling at any moment. Flat-soled sneakers or sandals make it very difficult to maintain grip on wet rocks. Therefore, my friend and I warned everyone in the group to not rush from the moment we stepped into the water and to take firm, short steps. During the walk, we made sure the stones we placed our feet on were dry and firm.

Before entering the mosque, I had already made ablution at a small neighborhood mosque that I found on my way. Because of that, I walked directly into the women鈥檚 prayer area. I prayed two rakats, made my duas, and then decided to stay there for a while. I love sitting quietly inside mosques without doing anything. Watching people pray, listening to the silence, and simply slowing down always makes me feel peaceful. I opened the Quran and read Surah Yasin, one of my favorite chapters. Every time I read it, I feel calmer. I stayed there for a while after finishing it, just observing the beautiful atmosphere around me. Sometimes silence speaks louder than words, and I think moments like these are very valuable in our busy lives.
