Imagine for a moment that you are trapped in a rainy, dark forest. The air is gradually getting colder. Your eyes see raindrops falling on the branches and leaves of the trees around you in the darkness. Filled with fear and anxiety, you try to find shelter by running. Perhaps you cannot find shelter in this fictional scenario, but if you are experiencing this scenario in a forest in Döşemealtı, you can spend the night in a cave as large and spacious as a shelter. Two weeks ago, I visited such a large, spacious, and supernatural cave.

Before coming to live in Malaga I remember looking on the map about its beaches and discovering that along its route with about 15 of them was something I did not expect. Some are small, short stretches like some I have visited, isolated and lonely and others have large extensions like the beach of Pedregalejo with more than 1.200 metres long and the beach of Baños del Carmen is in the middle of it.

When the music’s over, turn out the lights. And when the adventure’s over, get on your flight. Both are the end of an era, perhaps a tiny little personal one, but still an era. The doors close. With this post, too, my Silly Sicily series comes to an end… just to set me free to embark on another adventure, some other space, some other time, the very same continuum. But hey, my next plane takes off in a day or so!
