In July 2024 My husband and I embarked on an epic Tour of Greece for 2 weeks. Our adventure started in Athens where we got to spend 2 nights before starting a 10 day cruise around the Greek Islands, followed by a few days on the tiny local Island of Spetses.
Today I want to take you to a very special place in our Old Havana. I invite you to explore with me the majestic Casa Aguilera, located on a corner steeped in history at the intersection of Mercaderes and Amargura streets.
Back in July this year, I drove to a random location on our northern Estonian coast. From Google Maps I noticed a point of interest for me. A small portion of sandy land that looks a bit out of place. That made me curious to go and see this spot in person. My geologic mind told me pretty quickly that this piece of land has not always been there. So I searched for historic satellite photographs and found this.
