Lake Bohinj is a glacier lake nestled in the Julian Alps, not far away from the much more popular and famous Lake Bled. It is a beautiful and peaceful lake, with crystal-clear water that reflects in different variations of green and blue. The lake is much less developed and populated in comparison with Lake Bled and also less visited by tourists. But still, in high season, it can be quite crowded.

Hello friends. During our trip to Klaip臈da county we visited a miniature and botanical park called Babylon Gardens. This park showcases miniatures of the world's most famous architectural structures. We saw miniatures of renowned buildings like the Sydney Opera House, the Statue of Liberty, the romantic Trevi Fountain and London Bridge. And world wonders such as the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Hanging Gardens of Babylon are also featured here.

The most intriguing aspect remaining is the Dukes' old hunting lodge, which is a rather odd building. Its built in a french style, but is very long and thin. It was built in the 1730s and is pretty much a folly. It sat opposite Hamilton Palace, which was the long time residence of the Dukes, but was demolished in the 1920s due to it being destabilised by coal mining underneath it !
