I know, this stuff get's crazy expensive very fast. Well the newer Z lenses are incredible from what I've read. Also the Z mount is probably the biggest ever build into a camera. Nikon promised to be able to build light stronger glass for the new bigger mount. There are already a bunch of good lenses out but the range is still quite small compared to the F mount lenses.

Yeah that's another huge reason - Weight/Size to switch to mirrorless. If you compare the D850 body and the Z7 body there really is a major difference.
