Hey there Mr Nutz! Long time no ummmmm "write"

Being an ambitious travel blogger on here I can relate to this article and sometimes I feel like throwing in the towel and byting the dust myself. Instead I've kept the faith and have now powered up to 10k in steem power with my earnings.

I still don't have much of a problem getting rewarded for efforts in steem, but at 35 cents a unit it really does not amount to much, creating content well below the price of minimum wage. And it's been a battle in terms of keeping my content quality high enough to get rewarded.

Frankly I stopped writing really good travel articles since they took hours to write just to earn a few dollars. So I've stuck to photo and video related content instead.

You and I actually are both investors (however I think you are on another level ;))

Have you heard about the vomit point?

It's supposed to mark a bottom in the markets. When you and maybe the public in general are so disgusted by the bear market it makes you want to vomit, and it often coincides with a turn around.

I'm once again on the fence about leaving the platform (been steadily at my vomit point for months now) moreover what I came to steemit for and set out to do, I accomplished, things were going great, then with the 95+% decrease in price and activity on the site, it's left me feeling helpless and as if I should search for greener pastures. Combined with that, I lost a lot of my support, and up-votes from whales like yourself, and I've had to resort to in-organic programs like @backscratcher to keep any kind income flowing in.

If it wasn't for being one of @dtube's top voted dtubers I probably would have thrown in the towel by now. It's been quite a challenge and seeing your article about moonsteem really resonated with me these days and obviously got me writing all of this. Show's steemit has not only been a struggle for me lately but for most of us. Even @sndbox has closed up shop and their new project @creativecrypto gets like no replies over and over again.

All of this has me thinking.....

Youtube, EOS's Voice, and instagram may be better places for me to go. As getting a taste of being a successful travel blogger is something I will never forget and don't want to let go. But I just don't think it's possible for me to be a "successful" travel blogger on steemit anymore (at least at these prices). Which frankly, really sucks as I love it here, community and more.....

Any thoughts on the future of steemit and it's worth my time? I certainly look up to your crypto wisdom and more. You've been a real positive influence on me here.

Also since I've last written you, I've crossed the Atlantic, From Thialand to Bali Indonesia, went to Greece, Bulgaria, Spain, Florida, and now I'm reunited with my x girlfriend from Ecuador. Other than this kind of downer message about my blogging state of affairs. Many other things in my life are on the up and up! Even the price of gold and gold stocks are moving in my direction as of late.
