#pic1000: A quiet kind of strength
Hello Freewriters. I looked at #pic1000 and immediately felt tenderness. Not because the little one looks helpless, but because something feels familiar. That face. That pause. That way of lying still

Midnight Letters Prompt #24: The difference is the silence

How long is a work week?
Image: I captured the sunset disturbed by traffic on my way home. For many of us, the work week is not Monday to Friday. It is Monday to almost breathing again. We count down to the weekend as if it is

LoH Contest #279 | On Coffee in Teacups and the Art of Being Left Alone
Dearest gentle reader, in a moment of pure Bridgerton inspired drama, I have decided that the perfect afternoon is a matter worthy of its own society column. Mine begins, rather scandalously, with coffee

Window down, love up.
I took this from the car at a stop street the other day. I only had a few seconds, so it was window down, grab phone, click, and go, go, go. Felt like an F1 pitstop. But what caught me was the heart. Do

Image caption: I took this pic of a passing storm. The rain poured down for all of 2 minutes and the cloud slowly drifted away taking with it my joy… If I could travel through time, I would go to the future.

Love is in the… tree?
Captured this at a traffic light. The tree looked like a heart. Then I shifted my view and suddenly… Dodo? Also, the graffiti on the wall behind it feels like the scene is collaborating. Tell me I’m not

Love lived two doors away - LoH contest #275
If love were honest, it would admit this: it enjoys a good disguise. I, for one, judged it and misjudged it for I was certain it had abandoned me. Vanished quietly. Left me to make peace with arrangements,
