Hi fungilovers...
I'm so glad that today I have dared to make my first post on the @fungilovers community, and of course there are still many mistakes and shortcomings in this post, I hope you all can understand it.
Here I am alone without anyone teaching, frankly it took me about four months to learn how to make a post.
Alright, without having to tell a long story, let's just discuss the topic in my post this time, which is a fungus that I got on a long fallen cacao tree.
According to what I saw, this fungus is a polypore or bracket fungus, this fungus is a group of fungi that form a rather large fruiting body with characteristic pores or tubes located at the bottom.
Regarding the color that looks green on this mushroom, I think this is because this mushroom has been around for a long time and will go through a process of decay.
There are thousands of types of polypore mushrooms that grow in the wild, and did you know that this type of fungus is one of the mushrooms used for traditional medicine.
