While in a dead-end job as a technical support engineer I decided to take a holiday to my native country, Ghana. You how it goes, alter your environment, alter your mental state. Sometimes it works.
I made my way to the town of Kokofu, the Ashanti Region of the country. Where I am from.
There I met the children of the Okogyeasuo school. They were bright, energetic, jovial, and extremely poor. How was it that these children had such high spirits given their circumstances? Some of them had already experienced too much life at such an early age. They may have been damaged, but they were far broken.
Meeting those kids in need was the spark I need to get my career going for myself. I quit my job, started my own business, and I never looked back (except to hurl insults at my old boss... you got to have fun)
