Hello #monomad nation. It's been a while since I was here. I hope you are still remembering me, lol. Today i am sharing with you my summer find, hidden beach somewhere in the Adriatic coast.

There is a temptation, when photographing the Adriatic, to give most of the frame to the water. Blue is persuasive, especially when you can see through it to the stones below. At this small beach, the coastline makes an equally strong case for attention. Pale cliffs rise above a narrow shore, pine trees spread across the ridge, and openings between the rocks reveal separate pieces of the landscape. The water belongs in the photographs, of course. So does everything around it.

The gallery follows those different views, allowing the beach to emerge gradually. Some photographs leave room for the sky and the distant coastline. Others move closer to the rock, where an uneven edge or a patch of sunlight becomes the center of the picture. Seen together, they give a sense of a place whose interest extends beyond the spot where you might put down a towel.

Above the shore, the trees introduce a different set of lines. Pine trunks pull the eye upward, branches reach across patches of sky, and dry grass catches the light beneath them. There is a roughness to these scenes that suits the coast. Very little follows a straight line, and the photographs have plenty to work with before the sea even enters the frame.

Closer to the beach, the rock begins to shape how much of the view is visible. A narrow opening directs attention toward a sunlit surface; an overhang creates a dark border around the brighter ground beyond. These natural frames make the scale difficult to judge. In one photograph, the stone seems to enclose the whole scene. In another, a strip of blue opens it up again.

Color changes across these boundaries. The shaded rock loses some of its warmth, while exposed surfaces carry orange and gold. Near the water, pale stones remain visible beneath blue-green shallows. The photographs bring these areas alongside one another, making the transitions easier to notice. There is as much variety in the darker parts of the gallery as there is in the brightest view of the sea.

Calling a beach “hidden” can place a lot of emphasis on finding it. For this series, the more interesting discovery is how much there is to look at within such a small stretch of coast. A wide view establishes the setting; the closer photographs give individual shapes and surfaces their own space. Neither tells the whole story alone.

You can move through the gallery quickly and follow its colors, from the greens above the cliffs to the blue beside the shore. Or linger over the smaller details: the curve of a trunk, the edge of an opening, a boulder standing in shallow water. The images leave room for either approach. Together, they offer a closer look at a beach where the trees and stone deserve just as much attention as the water.

Well, that's it for today's topic. Thank you very much for your attention and support. Without you, my camera would rest in the corner. See you next time with another theme.
Stay blessed
