One of the most scenic (and dangerous) routes in America, it runs between Durango and Ouray & Telluride in south-central Colorado. Rising to over 11,000 ft., the weather can change quickly and drastically. We did a day drive out and back, blasting Sigur Ros of course.
In the evening we should have been more aware--we were only halfway back when we got hit with a heavy snowstorm--in mid-May! Conditions were nearly total whiteout, and the temperature was hovering just around freezing, so we had to creep along very slowly. Thankfully we had a heavy truck with 4 wheel drive.
As you can see from the last photo, one truck driver was not as careful.

저녁에 우리는 더 많이 알고 있어야했습니다 - 5 월 중순에 폭풍으로 폭풍에 맞았을 때 우리는 반쯤 뒤로 돌아갔습니다! 조건은 거의 백지 상태 였고 기온은 영하에 머무르고있었습니다. 그래서 우리는 매우 천천히 기어 들어가야했습니다. Thankfully 히 우리는 4 륜구동과 함께 무거운 트럭을 가지고 있었다.
