Your reviews does exactly what it's intended to do: to give the reader insights into the movie without revealing the entire story, leaving them with the direct choice to watch or not.
I think that’s the best way to write any review. The idea is to offer a personal perspective without directly influencing the reader's thinking.

I believe I've also come across movies with this plot, and I think their common issue lies with being a bore or stirring confusion for the viewers at some point. Probably a part of the script wasn't well developed.
That is part of the whole problem, because it is as if the project loses its way while trying to scale up its own development.
I love that you've also rated this genuinely. Not the regular 100/100 ratings.
I always strive for consistency between what I write and the rating I give in each review (and I simply can't do it any other way).
