I’ve been watching the news, listening to the radio and reading the news where I can, what the hell is going with the world?
Okay, its old news that a misogynistic maniac is in the White House, I’m not going to go over that again, but this I found genuinely scary –

He gets a dossier twice a day about how cool is! No bad news, just all great news, good pics and feel good stories about how Donald Trump is the man.
Isolated from reality and being one of the most powerful men on the planet doesn’t seem like a good combo to me.
Now through this maniac into the mix, a true dictator who feeds people to wild dogs and executes them with artillery cannon, Kim Jong Un. Surrounded by yes men too terrified to say anything negative or contradictory.
Two sides of the same coin?
One has as many nukes at his disposal as he wants, and the other craves that kind of power, if Jong Un does have the capability to fire a small nuclear missile at Chicago then how far are we away from midnight on the doomsday clock?
I found it interesting what Trump said during the week in the latest bout of jingoistic brinkmanship with these two, “fire and fury” was the phrase he said, what was interesting about that was that it was very similar to Harry Truman when he said of the Japanese in WW2,
"if they do not now accept our terms they may expect a rain of ruin from the air, the like of which has never been seen on this Earth."
I find it interesting that Trump employed the same language and I think it’s a clear sign he is serious when he says he will rain fire and fury on North Korea.
As a side note, it’s also kind of interesting those same two presidents share the first four letters of their surname, if I was some sort of conspiracy theorist…
Let’s think this through for a second though, N Korea does attack America, being so out of touch with the real world a dictator like Un might think he could get away with it. Trump wouldn’t hesitate to respond in kind and may times over…
China wouldn’t just sit idly back as one of their allies was nuked off the face of the Earth, from two desperate sabre rattling inadequates you could have a cascade of events that may take us down a very dark path.
One a dictator, one a TV reality show regular, does he think he will literally fire Kim Jong Un?
I would like to think that sense would prevail and other companies would lobby effectively for a peaceful solution, but
The UK is in the middle of a Brexit crisis, we don’t have a clue.
Russia is headed by another jingoistic macho aggressive leader not know for taking the reasonable route
Italy is too busy dealing with waves of migrants.
Greece is almost bankrupt.
Spain isn’t much better as it watches a diaspora of its youth to richer countries
France is just getting over the terrifying prospect that Marie le Pen nearly got into Government
Germany seems stable but is beset by all the rest.
I could go on, but you get the idea.
