I am stuck watching the same movies, the same TV shows, playing the same games, listening to the same songs[...]
Oh boy! (or, girl, don't know :D ) I totally feel you!
Open Netflix -> Yeah rather watch on of the same dozen movies for the 100th time
Open Steam -> Yeah, rather play the same campaign of the same games for the 100th time
Open music player -> Yeah, the playlist has not changed for the last 10 years or so
BUT! What I managed to change is the content I read. In the means of books.
Ebook readers (Kindle and so on) are great yes, but they create a tight filter bubble. I started reading SciFi and fantasy books, so the only recommendations I got was SciFi and fantasy.
I "escaped" this by stop buying books for Kindle (Amazon sucks anyways) and went to the bookstore instead. Like, I bought printed books, some would say oldschool ;)
However, presented "bestsellers" from various topics (economy, society, tech, biographies and so on) really were an enrichment.
In terms of websites, I think this is much harder to get through as - in my opinion - too many websites that used be really good turned into ad-infested clickbait garbage. Sad.
