I and the person I'm making it for passed ideas back and forth before landing on a design he liked. Right now all of his records are in carrying cases and crates on his floor, so he really wanted something to get them off the floor and more at eye-level so he could easily sift through them. The side-by-side bins on the top were an idea I threw at him to see if he thought he'd like them for sorting through while performing.
