It is one of the countries in south-East Asia.The area of it is about 261228 square miles. China, laos, Thiland,Banglandesh,
and India are her neighbouring countries.
We are fridendly with our neighbouring countries.The population of our country is about 50 million.Most of the people are Myanmar Buddhists.There are fourteen states and Division in our country.Yangon isthe capital .It is not far from the sea.Aye yarwady is the longest and main river.The climate of the country is good for paddy plantation.The climate is hot and wet the whole year.There are three seasons in the Country.So our is in agricultural country.Her main product is rice.Most of the people in the country are farmers.In the rainy season, fish and prawn are plentiful all over the country,especially in the delta regions.Myanmar is rich in natural resources.It is also the genuine nation of precious stones such as ruby,sapphire emerald and jade.They are of the best quality in the world.Many foreigners are fond of Myanmar gems and jades.As ours is a tropical country,she is the chief producer of rice.Besides ,rice is the chief food of Myanmar.Myanmar people are kind,generous,helpful and hospitable.They are happy go lucky people too .There are sesonal fastival all the year round.Among then,waterfastival is the most popular one.We are also aculturet people.There are many pagodas thoughout the country.Among then,shwedagon,sule,botahtaung and kabaye are the the most famous pagoda.Kyaik htee yo and Kyaik Khamee are among then.So,Myanmar is known as the land of pogodas all over the world.There are beautiful summer resorts all over the country.Nagpli,setse,kan tha yar,pyin oo lwin,chaung tha are very popular.Tourists are fond of visiting these places.Bogyoke Aung San was our national leader.There are also universities,colleges,high schools and primary level schools for children.She world under the rule of the british for nearly one hundred years.But she was intependent in 1948.
