Let's go back ! to 1996 ! This is an oldie from the wink vaults , recorded on an old 4 track if anyone remembers those , so please forgive the sound quality.
I know this song is a little naive , but its catchy and danceable so i hope you enjoy !
Oh and by the way the cover is from the main front door of where i live , just a bit of useless info for you .
LYRICS
There's a place I know I've been there
Where tortured souls go
I followed many who also sin there
Despite all the no nos
Oh it seemed fine , just for a while
Just for a moment
Oh but soon I found out , what it's all about
Ain't no big romance
Heartbreak Avenue
Where I lost my heart to you
Now I'll never go back to
Heartbreak Avenue
Down on
Heartbreak Avenue
Is the street I found the blues
Another love that isn't true
On Heartbreak Avenue
Must I fall from grace every time
I see your face yeah
And you walk by me out on the town
With another guy yeah
Oh how many fools have you made
Look more stupid
Oh but time after time
Temptation divine feels like cupid
Oh playing with fire , mixed with desire
You're asking for trouble
So if your feet stray down that way
Get away on the double ( I've been there to)
Heartbreak Avenue
Where I lost my heart to you
Now I'll never go back to
Heartbreak Avenue
Down on
Heartbreak Avenue
Is the street I found the blues
Another love that isn't true
On Heartbreak Avenue
Well now i sit and contemplate all my mistakes
I've had the worst of things , but I've still got some breaks
It's only loving that I want
Heartbreak Avenue
Where I lost my heart to you
Now I'll never go back to
Heartbreak Avenue
Down on
Heartbreak Avenue
Is the street I found the blues
Another love that isn't true
On Heartbreak Avenue
