This is the second post I'm posting in the asean hive community since I'm fine. Yesterday I told you how to make a cute lollipop using color paper. I have not shared how to make clay art for a long time. It's because I ran out of air dry clay. Today I bought a clay pack. Now that I have some clay, I'm thinking of doing some clay art these days. Today I made two cute cakes using some clay. The cake I made today using clay is a Japanese cream roll cake. Let's get started.
I mainly use two colors to make Japanese cream roll cake. For decoration, I use some other clay slightly. I first chose 4 colors to make a green Japanese cream roll cake. These colors are green, black, white and yellow. I want to use dark green, but I only have light green, so I mixed that light green clay with a little bit of black clay. When mixed, you will get the clay color shown above.
Now I will use the main colors dark green and white. First, I rolled the dark green clay by hand into small sticks. Then I pressed the clay a little bit with a ruler. When pressed, you will get a small clay plate as shown above. I made white clay the same way. It is important that both clay plates are the same size.
I put this green clay and white clay together. Then I rolled the clay from one end of the edge to the other. When done, you will get something like the image above. I pressed a little with a ruler because the edges were not straight. Also this side, I used a painting brush to make small holes. Now this clay looks like a Japanese cream roll cake. But it's still needed for some decoration.
I roll it by hand to make a little white clay stick. Then I lightly pressed the white clay with a ruler. When you press it, you will get a small piece of clay as shown above. I applied a little bit of clay to make a cream shape. Then I glued the white clay in a circle on top of the green color clay. Now I have created the cream shape.
I made a leaf using green color clay and some small balls using yellow color clay. I first glued the leaf clay in the middle of the cram. Then I glued all the yellow small ball clay in the middle of the cream. Now you have a cute and perfect Japanese cream roll cake.
I also made a pink color Japanese cream roll cake the same way. On top of that pink color cream cake, I decorated a strawberry with clay. These cream roll cakes are cute and easy to make. So even if you like it, you can easily do it. When I showed my brother these clay cream roll cakes, he told me to feed him one. I replied that it was made of clay and that it was not a real cake. He told me it looked like a real cake. And what do you think?
