Yesterday I told you about some of the flowers I drew. Today I made some plants using some colored paper. Today I made some lovely cactus plants. I once told you about how to make cactus plants about four months ago. The cactus plants I made at the time were small in size and I made the vase out of cardboard. The cactus vase I made today is bigger and contains a lot of cactus plants. If you love handmade, DIY and papercraft, you will definitely love these adorable cactus vase made of colored paper. I also use a different method of making cactus, unlike the previous one. In the past, I used to make a small cactus vase using cardboard.
On a green color paper, I drew a square measuring 3.5 inches x 3.5 inches. Then I cut it with scissors. If you want a large cactus, you should cut the green color paper large. In the same way, I cut five pieces of green color paper.
I chose a green color paper and folded it in the middle. I drew a half circle on the green color paper and cut it with scissors. I did the same with the other four green color papers.
I cut the red color paper into a lot of small triangles as shown in the picture. I also made a small stem using green color paper. I glued the folded green color papers together. In some places between the green paper, I also glued some red triangles. I also glued the first green color paper and the last used green color paper together. Now that I have a cute little cactus and I also attach the stem to the bottom of that cactus.
That way I made five cactus. At the top of all the cacutus, I glued pink flowers. I also glued two cactus together as shown in the picture.
I glued a piece of newspaper together and rolled it up. That way I rolled all the newspapers and cut them all to 4 inches. I glued all the newspaper pieces together on cardboard and glued the two ends together. I glued the bottom to the cardboard and cut out all the excess pieces.
Inside a vase made of newspaper, I put obsolete colored paper. Then I put all the cactus plants in there and decorated them. Now I got a lovely cactus vase. However, this is not perfect.
