Hello friends,

Welcome back to my new post. How are you friends? I hope all goes well. For today, I made two paper palm leaves. Usually I use colored paper or newspaper when I do papercraft. Today I used another paper instead of those two. Today I used sketching paper. This paper is widely used in our country for sewing clothes. I chose this paper because the color of the paper is similar to that of a dry palm leaf.

Materials-

  • paper
  • scissors
  • glue
  • pencil and ruler

Step-1

The paper I had was so large that I cut it into quarters first. Then on that paper I used a pencil and ruler to draw a square 12 inches x 12 inches. I cut the colored paper with scissors as I drew it.

Step-2

Then I folded the colored paper in the middle. I drew a half heart on that piece of paper and cut it with scissors.

Step-3

Then I put the paper back in its original shape and you can see in the picture there is a line in the middle of the paper. Next to that line, I drew a line 1cm wide. That way I draw lines across the entire paper surface.

Step-4

Fold the paper along the line at one end of the paper. Then turn the surface of the paper to the opposite side and fold it along the line. I folded all the lines that way.

Step-5

I also cut out a piece of paper measuring 12 inches x 2 inches. Then I glued the paper to the bottom of the folded paper.

In the last step, I cut a little at the top of the paper. Now I have a lovely palm leaf. Many of these paper palm leaves can be used for decoration. I'll talk about that later. Thank you so much for reading my post to the end. Bye Bye. See you next post.🍇
