Today I came back with a way to do papercraft. Today I am going to share how to do a bookmark with color paper. For people like me who enjoy reading and collecting books, bookmarking is also very cute. I love to see beautiful bookmarks and sometimes buy them. However, I have never made a bookmark. The only bookmarks I have are gifts and purchases. So today I made two bookmarks with some of my ideas. Although this is my first time do bookmark, I succeeded. So, I will share with Hivers how to bookmark with color paper. This is because it is easy to make and does not require a lot of ingredients.
Materials-
• Color paper
• Glue
• Scissors
• Pencil and pen
• The ruler
• Cardboard
First, I drew a rectangle 5inches x 1.2 inches on cardboard. The picture also shows the dimensions of the rectangle I drew. Then I used a pair of scissors to cut that rectangle.
In the same way, I made another rectangle. Then I glued the two rectangles together.
The first bookmark I create will be blue. So, I drew another rectangle on the blue color paper measuring 5.2inches x 2.5inches. I cut that rectangle with scissors.
I also used a pair of scissors to cut a little at the four corners of the rectangle. Then I glued the colored paper rectangle and the cardboard rectangle as shown in the picture.
Now is the time to make flowers. You can bookmark not only flowers but also strawberry and cat pictures. I made flowers because I like flowers. The flower I made was very simple. I use yellow and orange to make flowers. My yellow color paper was too big, so I cut as much as I needed.
I folded the colored paper in the middle. Then I drew a line about 0.5cm wide.
Then I cut it as shown in the picture. I did the same with orange paper.
I rolled up the yellow color paper. Then I mixed it with orange color paper and rolled it up. Now I have a beautiful flower.
I also cut out some leaf shapes. Glue two flowers and two leaves on blue color paper to get a beautiful bookmark. Then I wrote some letters on color paper. Now I have beautiful bookmarks.
