For the rest, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his strength.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can stand firm against the snares of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
Therefore, take all the armor of God, so that you can resist in the bad day, and having finished everything, be firm.
Ephesians 6: 10-13
Being firm speaks to us of the firmness in keeping ourselves daily in communion with God.
He gives us all the security to cover us and protect us against every spiritual attack; but it is in each one of us, in our firmness and conviction that we remain in Him, and He in us.
We can talk about Truth and Justice many times and give examples, but it is very difficult to reach the perfect meaning that these two words have in this Biblical quote.
This important element of the Armor, symbolizes the protection of God over all our lives, against all lies and deception that the enemy wants us to do.
As the belt covers the loins, it could be understood that there are attacks that come from the side where many times we do not see.
They are deceptive arguments that only want to break our trust, modifying the Word.
In a way, we do not need to give examples because we know how deceptive spirits work to change or add Words from the Scriptures.
"For in the gospel the Justice of God is revealed by faith and for faith, as it is written: But the just shall live by faith"
