Although God has the power to control the universe, each of us has given us the free will to make our own decisions and be ourselves who can decide what to do.
We know well that God's plans are for well-being and blessing, but they are our decisions that determine what kind of life we choose to live and in such a way carry it out.
We are who we are today, because of the decisions we made yesterday, and tomorrow we will be the people we are because of the decisions we make today.
The Bible teaches us to be good stewards of every blessing and benefit God places in our hands.
We give the Glory to God that we already know of his love, forgiveness and mercy, but that is only the beginning. There is much more revelation of his word that we have to scrutinize and experience.
Peter in 2 Peter 1: 5-11 exhorts the people of God to increase their knowledge to be partakers of God's promises in a rewarding way.
And do not forget that if you make a mistake, get up and keep fighting that there is no one perfect, the only perfect being that exists is God and he will help you to get ahead. Just ask for it
David was according to the heart of God not for being perfect, but for making good decisions even after his mistakes.
